Lectures and Conferences

Lectures and Conferences

  1. Tuesday at noon: Neurology Grand Rounds.
  2. First Wednesday of every month at noon: Pulmonary/Sleep conferences with our colleagues from the Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Occupational Medicine Division of Internal Medicine. Various pulmonary/sleep medicine topics are presented by fellows from the Sleep Medicine and Pulmonary, Critical Care and Occupational Medicine Fellowship programs.
  3. Third Wednesday of every month at noon: PSG Conferences. During each conference, fellows take turns presenting interesting PSG case studies. Each presentation starts with the fellow providing the patient's basic information, the rationale for the test, and a review of the test itself. They then offer a detailed analysis of the hypnogram, highlighting relevant findings and potential discussion points. Following this, they showcase specific examples of key findings and identify areas for further discussion. At the end of the presentation, the fellow outlines the patient's treatment plan and outcomes, and addresses any questions from the audience.
  4. All other Wednesdays at noon: Sleep Medicine teaching conference. Different sleep medicine topics are presented by fellows and faculty. Colleagues from other departments (e.g. Internal Medicine, College of Dentistry) are invited to present at this conference.
